It can be done but is a double-edged sword, merit by the left's definition is how this started. Once the left decided white people, Christian's, conservatives and patriots had no merit they set out to marginalize them and replace them with drones, left wing lunatics and activists. A degree from any ivy league school is now worthless. A resume of anyone working successfully in a dim controlled area is potentially a sign of a woke plant or future insider threat.

The military and covid woke me up. I made my own way without a college degree or mom and dad's money (I am from a working-class family not a rich kid). The military paid for a degree that started me on a good follow up career until I was fired for not talking the clot shot. I think starting out with nothing taught me that rank and privilege didn't make anyone more intelligent or always right. I own my own business now and could careless where someone started, I want to know what they can do right now, today and if they plan to do it again tomorrow. The left only gave me one gift and it was an important one, they gave me trust issues and that helps me spot, avoid and when necessary to beat them.
