The problem with communists is they always claim that all previous attempts at communism was not really communism and they will get it right this time.

The very core of communism, as defined by Karl Marx, is extremely flawed and leads directly to the authoritarian rule that the communists deride. There is nothing in Marxism that allows the individual the freedom to determine how to live their own live as they best see fit without any interference from the government. You just cannot take away all private property ownership rights and all political power and claim that it is freedom.

To do so means you do not understand freedom.

Anarchocommunism

There are two types of anarcho-communism. One uses the idea of social anarchy to tear down so that a totalitarian communist regime can take it's place.

The other is pre-Marx communism. People voluntarily form communes in order to survive. Not too far removed from that are farm coops. Jewish kibbitzes. The "united order" in the early Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are hundreds of not thousands of different examples of that.

Marx was not interested in the later because he thought his idea of communism should be global. Everyone on the planet should live under his vision of communism.

The first type of anarcho-communist I mentioned are just communists. There's really no reason for the prefix "anarcho" because they are not anarchists.

The second type of anarcho-communists are the true original pre-Marx communists. They are not interested in world domination (at least I hope not). I don't care about them. They are no threat to my way of life or my liberty. The can form communes and be happy for as long as they want and I will never have a problem with that. And if they keep it all to themselves they can even worship at the alter of Karl Marx if they want to. But the minute they turn into narcissistic freaks and start demanding we all live that way then I am done with them.

If you want to take all of your freedom and live in a commune and give all of your freedom up to that commune (if that is what the commune requires) then that is your life. I will never tell you how to live it. Just like if you are a hard core Marxist I will not prevent you from moving to China or North Korea.

Where I have a real and very serious problem is when you try to influence politics in my country in such a way that I and everyone else loses freedom on your quest to turn my country into some 3rd world Marxist regime. You can find yourself on the business end of a gun barrel over that. I will not give up my right to self determination. Nor will I give up my morals or my God.

The irony is that all of the crimes of humanity that capitalism is alleged to cause are actually caused by Marxism. Income inequality is worse under communism that any other economic system ever devised by man. The rich power elites get richer and every one else lives in abject poverty. Communism brother, fascism, lightens slightly the control over businesses but allowing business owners and employees to keep their jobs but this creates a destructive alliance between business and government. The government still controls the means of production, they just allow business owners to share a little bit in the money stolen from the people.
