There's nothing to be insecure about, just because it looks a little similar to someone else doesn't mean it's bad

yeah but sometimes I feel like I'm just copying you kinda makes me doubt my own abilities at times

It's just part of learning, occasionally it'll look similar to somebody else's work but eventually you'll find a way to do things you're more comfortable with and develop your own style

I stole Evilish's eyes for a while, then I just stopped using them for my drawings and now I have less(?) cartoonish eyes

What I'm saying is that it's normal to assimilate aspects of other people's art, just use it to make your own style ^^

people emulaate their surroundings. makes sense you might develope a simular style to the doc
