When I got older, I finally realized that most vegetables were actually pretty good

Except for the home canned green beans. They taste like the olive drab/gray color they are.
Fresh or frozen green beans are another story.

im still not big on vegetables. more of a fruit guy but carrots, peppers, and peas are ok
