Oh... Well, as long as your save file works, I'd recommend you buy either a new cartridge or the digital version (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/pokemon-violet-switch/).

I already got the dlc for the game and I was actually planning on getting the digital copy of Violet and shield soon
