If the fetus is already dead than it isn't an abortion. Commons sense, anyone??

The clinical definition of dead verses alive is movement, and colors on a ultrasound. But using fetal Doppler for the sound of heartbeat is not included in this law because it's hard to hear fetal heartbeat when women's body's are a factor in being able to hear a second heart beat within the first trimester. So what should be used for the actual clinical determination of being alive or dead? Ultrasound, or Fetal Doppler?

Ultrasound shows movement and can show the valve pumping.

And your wrong a ultrasound shows the electrical activity of a fetus depending on its stage, and the heartbeat noise is a manufactured sound , put in place to deter women from getting a abortion. Only fetal Doppler can pick up the sound of the heartbeat at a specific stage, depending on women's anatomy. Look up the cdcs totals on infant deaths, material death and stillborn births. It's alarming that over 40,000 American women are loosing their babies to pregnancy complications in a 1st world nation. Over 1000 maternal deaths occurs in a year, sure not that many,, and as we know from COVID these numbers might not reflect the accurate total.

The fetus had a heartbeat, and the mother was going septic, and all pregnant women are in danger throughout a pregnancy. That law is trash because if a fetus has a heartbeat it cannot be removed... It like if a pregnant woman is dead on the operating table but the fetus depending on the stage of pregnancy is still actively showing signs of life, they still can't remove it. It's a heartbeat law. Nobody can legally define how to practice medicine with such a law.

Yes I'm so but hurt because dead pregnant women are just as important as the life they were incubating.

I am very confident that a dead pregnant woman is the least thing you care about. You are just taking advantage of that situation to push your political agenda and make yourself feel better. What you are doing is very selfish and disgusting if you asked me.

I don't have a political agenda, my presidential candidate will never win because I support third parties every election just to make sure they stay on the ballot. And what I really don't understand is why such a medical complication effects you unless it is happening to you. If you had, lost a wife, daughter, grandchild to a pregnancy complication you might think differently.

You: <The clinical definition of dead verses alive is movement, and colors on a ultrasound. >
Me: <Ultrasound shows movement and can show the valve pumping.>

Repeat: Ultrasound shows movement to include the valve pumping. Seen first-hand, on each of my three of children, at 6 to 8 weeks. "added sounds" are immaterial.

As far as that girl who died, where was her obstetrician? Was she receiving no pre-natal care? None of this information is given. And how would an abortion have "cured" her sepsis? This isn't answered either.

So if you are a woman as you claim to be, and have never experienced a pregnancy complication lord have mercy on you, but each woman is different. And mammm the sound of a heartbeat confirms life, and as you know is difficult to find in the first trimester. As far as seeing a fetal heart valve at 6 weeks, that's bs because a fetus at that stage looks like 4 to 8 cells, or the sack is empty depending on your complications.

<a fetus at that stage looks like 4 to 8 cells> What you are describing is actually a 3 day old microscopic zygote. Do you bother to do any basic research before you post?

Read slowly because your comprehension is lacking:

You:
<The clinical definition of dead verses alive is MOVEMENT, and colors on a ultrasound. >

Me: <Ultrasound shows MOVEMENT and can show the valve pumping.>

I have no reason to lie, I just wouldn't say anything.

I guess you can read the scientific journal for yourself. Depending on the woman most physicians don't recommend a ultrasound till 11 weeks, but some women don't know when they got pregnant or have complications so a 6 week ultrasound is recommended.

When after a bi-manual pelvic exam and a positive pregnancy test; the day of the last menses ended is uncertain, as when oral contraceptives are discontinued. The doctor would do an ultrasound to determine the gestational age of the fetus. Very good.

This looks like a 11 week ultrasound.

6-8 weeks. The fetus, although very small, is rapidly growing. The organs, though primitive and tiny, are differentiated.
