Maybe that's the problem with our society, we let the government control how money gets spent even if we the people don't like how it's spent, and if we try to evade taxes to the government in protest, a person will end up paying fines and possibly go to prison. Yet those who put the taxpayer in debt by writing a bad check, have no punishment for the financial crime they continue to commit

I totally agree. The cost of five extra security staffs would just be a drop in the swimming pool. I hope Trump goes the Javier Milei route and starts amputating parts of the abomination that is the bureaucracy.
