The overwhelming majority of everyday American consumer products are from China and other countries, do you really not see why charging tariffs would make the cost of living even more unaffordable? You view Trump as the guy to bring inflation down and make the cost of living affordable but his tariff policy won't make it so.

Psst - wouldn't be a problem if no country didn't make trade deals with China in the first place. We locked out Cuba, Soviet Union, and various other communist countries over the decades. . .but for some reason just had to make trade deals with the largest communist country on the planet.
