To be fair, though, people are pretty stingy about "like"ing other people's memes on this site, anyway. Unless you happen to make a really good one, no-one really seems to bother. Maybe we should just spread a bit more love in general?

I've new here and I enjoy the humor and the chance to contribute. I've done my share of down votes, but nothing malicious. I guess I will have to grow thicker skin because I don't plan on stopping. See you guys around.

I think the prob is people think that if they like memes but they created one, if they up.vote others, it will make theirs less popular. I roll thru the new ones everyday and up whatever makes me grin. But I def down the stupid nonsense too

@Hugger, yuchangi, and themaniswatching I agree with all three of yall. People shouldn't care if liking memes makes theirs less popular. If its good is good and deserves credit. Its called Morales and unselfishness. Also, I agree people can be a little more lenient in what they like and less harsh on memes that are not perfect, but had decent effort. Dont hate, appreciate.

I have to admit that sometimes I either don't press "like" for a meme that I find funny but has terrible spelling and/or grammar, or, if it's extreme, I will downvote it. But I also click "like" a lot as well. I'm not hard to please, really! :oP
