i'm not a Democrat, and i did mention Trump's name.
you know that each party goes with the candidate that they think can win. sure, Bernie could do the job, but he wouldn't win the election. so far, it looks like the Dems called it right.
i'm voting for Harris because Trump was a disaster and Kamala's the alternative most likely to beat him. in 2020, nobody expected Biden to be fabulous, but that wasn't the important thing at the time. the goal was to avoid four more years of awful. Kamala'll have good advisors, none of them will end up in prison, and she'll do her best to make good decisions for the country and the world. she'll get along with our allies. how will she handle crises? i expect she'll take good advice and reach a best consensus with her team. not sure you know this, but the US President is effectively a caretaker of the entire planet and its people. they have that much power, and they must use it wisely. Trump is very much an America-first guy. he thinks other people's problems aren't important. i don't believe that most Americans feel that way. i don't think you do either.
can we handle another 10 million people if it comes to that many? yes, it's only a 3 percent increase and 10 million people would increase our strength as well as our population. Einstein and many other great scientists of the 20th century were immigrants. we wouldn't have beaten the Nazis without them.
i like how you think. i hope you'll be part of the national depolarization whenever it happens.
