It remains unknown just how they managed an end-run of the more numerous conservatives inside the Vatican to make this happen.

Ever hear of The Book of Truth? I read this message a year after it was published back in 2012, way before Benedict resigned. Way before most people knew who Jorge Bergoglio was. It has been right on the money all these 13 years since it's been out. It prepared me for what's happening now. Suffice it to say, counter measures are well in God's hands.

It definitely was headed in that direction as a result of the horrors of Vatican II; but the two previous Popes began 'quietly' cleaning their ranks of the 'Purple Mafia' type priests -- as they are called by the faithful in the know. Inside the United States California was a prime example of the Purple Mafia almost completely taking over the Catholic priesthood there.
