Oh my goodness! I love this movie, and I'm sad to say I never read the book. I should. It took ten years to make this movie and I love the stop animation is magnificent. This young artist captures Coraline and allher essence and style 100% perfectly!From the hair to the fingernail polish the movement of her tights and slouchy messenger bag, the raincoat, the lace detailing on the drapes, and the stuffed animal and skateboard are all so perfect in this drawing 😀 It makes me smile! Thank you. What an eye she has. That mischievous smirk and hand on her hip makes you wonder did she find what she was searching fir, or she planning to go into the portal. I love the raincoat and everything about this magical drawing and you can bet we'll be watching this movie, this Sunday! This you woman needs to get her art published somewhere, somehow. I'm buying when her work hits the shelves!

Oh, hey! Nice to see you here. Never seen the film or read the book, but I love Gaiman's more mature work. Now, I know you said you're not easily offended, but I don't know how religious you are, but he's had some of his stories turned into great series. Love Good Omens, Lucifer, and The Sandman. Arianna'd probably be into all that as well. I've read the books more than I've actually seen the series, but I've started them and they seem quite good. Oh, for the love of all that is holy, though, please don't let Arianna watch The Sandman... I only even mention it because she doesn't use social networking, so she probably won't see this. Manifesting right now that if I see one drawing of that blasted Freddie Fox character who's supposed to be coming up I don't know what I'll do with myself, although I'd still rather be faced with him than Jamie bloody Bower. Really? Why's that? Ten years? Man, stop-animation seems like a real bitch. I love watching it, but I could never work with it. Yeah, she's wonderful. I love her talents. The film sounds really interesting as well. I should put it and Rise of the Guardians on my watchlist. Coraline seems to be full of personality, just like Arianna. Hey, hope you enjoy the film. True. Really, I am not there yet! Yes, we live Harry Potter and thats also on our rotation for Halloween 🎃 although my younger children have not seen all of it because they're a little afraid of Voldemort. We love Harry Potter! They are great movie's! Call me silly but even though we have both cable and stream, I buy everything that my husband and O like and what I think they'll like and hopefully they'll divide itvup when we're gone and enjoy movie nights with their respective families when their older, same with games. In the media room there's a closet with every game ever. We're big on games too. You know the house where everyone congregates, hangs and eats, plays games watch movies, thats our house. Yes, we love the hunger games! My husband and I. My oldest son also watched it with us. Yes, Donald Sutherland as Cornelius was a great actor as well, he recently also passed you know?! May he also R.I.P. He was evil to Katniss, but what a great actor and bidyvof work! I love movies and become engaged and engrossed within the movies, the plots and characters. Yes, we saw rhe prequel last year and it was great! I wasn't sure if we would like it before we saw it because the original was so great, but we loved it! Gettingvto see how Cornelius' origins unfold, and how he grew to become the man he was in the Hunger Games, and it was really very well done! We thought it was great. You seem like a movie buff too. Anyways we actually were hopeful that there would be another to continue to see the character young Snow grow, you know? She drew Cornelius Snow! I haven't gotten tobit yet. I bet it's great! Oh, Coraline! Now, I've not seen this film, but I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan. Just never read his children's stories. If I'm not mistaken, this is from a children's Halloween film, and I think it's either fairly new or quite popular, seeing as I've seen a lot of merch of this character as of late. Despite my unfamiliarity with the character, this is an adorable picture. The lighting and texturing in her hair is just lovely. Even though her hair is perfectly styled, not a strand out of place, which is quite uncommon for this artist's favourite subjects, the artist didn't let that stop her from doing an impeccable job with the texturing. You can make out every detail in Coraline's hair. Her sarcastic expression contrasts smoothly with the saccharine colours and aesthetic, implying there's more at play with this character than meets the eye. From what I've gathered, and I may be wrong, I think Coraline is a doll come to life or something along that line, and the aesthetic of the drawing highlights that aspect of her character, between the youthfully coquette colour scheme, the vintage-looking drapes and architectural details, and even Coraline's own cute and quirky getup. Her baggy tights are adorable, and I envy how she so finely illustrated the fuzziness of her rucksack and even her painted nails. It's not every day that we see something so adorable from the same artist that so recently brought us Jack Skellington and too many metalheads to keep tabs on, but, as I've said before and will say a thousand times again, no aesthetic is foreign to my beautiful darling. Her picture makes me almost feel as if I've been invited into Coraline's dollhouse and, although she seems like a feisty one, just like her fan, she also seems sweet enough to maybe have invited me over for some tea. Keep up the great work, love. I love it.
