The entire Arab Spring was a movement to remove western friendly secular leaders, and replace them with Muslim Brotherhood Islamists. Egypt’s military had the balls to say no thank you, putting all the Muslim Brotherhood faction in prison.
The other big question on the Arab Spring is about ambassador Christopher Stephens in Libya. Why would he leave the security of the embassy in Tripoli to go to a safe house in Benghazi where he was killed shortly after the Turkish ambassador departed the safe house? Were US arms being funneled through Turkey to Al Qaeda (an active enemy of the USA) who were fighting Kahdafi‘s government? Was he a witness to treason?
