And people believe them. I think the legacy media, which includes not just the older 3 or 4 over the air networks, but CNN and their ilk, won't be able to pretend to be journalists for much longer. So they're well into their transition to infotainment or just plain entertainment.
The generation that trusted them (e.g. my parents generation) is getting smaller and smaller. Idiots these days actually get their news from sources like TikTok or X, or even Reddit, etc.
So, journalism is dead.
What's replacing it is pretty sad. People are too lazy to get the truth on their own.
So they believe the lies.
