People aren't "assigned" anything at birth. You're born the way you are. Your sex is recognized or acknowledged at birth.
Attempting to redefine the word "assigned" relative to a person's sex is just one more example of the left attempting to re-define well understood words to further their political agendas.
Not falling for that crap has zero bearing on whether a person supports lgbtq rights. This has nothing to do with lgbtq rights.
Identifying as something does not make it so. One could identify as a potted plant, an Amazon, a Pygmy, or an empty bowl, but that doesn't make them any of those things.
