Following directions is what has been taught to children since the inception of our socialist schooling system. obey=reward free markets allow people to better themselves (education, skill development, personal financial management) to take on life. If you are not willing to bring something to the table you shouldn’t eat what other have labored for.

If I don't want to work just to barely survive I don't have to. I don't want to work just to make my boss richer

Right…you can starve if you want.

So apparently it's either obey your boss or starve

Or you know. . .learn to grow/raise your own food source or start your own business.

Maybe I should do what Sophia did......

Btw I read a story called Robert vs Sophia where there was two characters named Robert and Sophia. Robert started a capitalist business, while Sophia started a worker co-op. Sophia didn't make as much money as Robert but everyone realized they liked her better

Life is not about being liked better than another person.
