That sounds like something you completely made up, the Mormon church in Utah forces young girls to be married to creepy older men and that's something solidly proven and the victims of such trafficking have openly spoken out against such a practise. Nothing to do with "woke Hollywood" or Democrats.

Unfortunately such a problem exists in America too. Many states still have child bride laws and religious conservative organizations have underaged girls get forced to be married to older men.
