The reaper

I've been playing Subnautica on Hardcore. If you have to ask this question you do not know the sheer terror of circumnavigating the Crash Zone at night in pitch darkness with a Seamoth at 2% structural integrity with 13% power back to dry land with this guy on your tail. The Reaper Leviathan wins.

I will copy/paste my individual comment for you so you can understand why N gets trounced:

Can't N just fly out of the water or use his solver to fire torpedoes?

No. The Reaper's already torn N to shreds. People always make the mistake of thinking Leviathan-class entities are really slow. Reapers can catch up to a Seamoth moving at full speed.

How fast can N fly in water? You could calculate it based on how quickly he flies past skeletons in the series by taking the distance from them and assuming average adult height. Then calculate water resistance on top of that and you'd still probably outrun the Leviathan. How fast does it move?

Well, canonically, Reapers are the fastest Leviathan-class entities on 4546B. Besides, we're assuming N would immediately run away. Why's that?

Gaining distance is helpful for ranged weaponry, and disassembly drones have an arsenal of that.

N definitely

Probably it would be harder than that.
1. Half of N’s arsenal would not work because it’s underwater
2. The reaper leviathan is crazy fast in water and the roars can deafen someone and very probably break glass
3. The Reaper is more muscle than meat (so it’s durable asf)
4. There is no plot armor

Its N no question

Muscle is meat, and swords work fine in water.

Yes but I don’t think Disassmebly drones were made to be underwater, but yes that’s a good point, also the flaming knife in the game deals almost no damage to the reaper so a sword may work but just in the surface

Also: N is virtually immortal since he can regenerate.

BUT new matter can't be pulled from thin air (actual law of science), so once N runs out of matter to draw from, he can't revive anymore.

There's a lot of scrap on the bottom of the ocean. Using the Solver, he could build a kind of shield. We know what the solver can do, after all.

As long as he isn't physically separated, her can pull himself back together.

Well, remember in episode 1 where Uzi literally disintegrated N's head and then it just came back via some weird liquid-y substance? That was N drawing on the matter to revive himself. Again, once he runs out of matter to draw upon, he can no longer come back.

Yeah, but remember when he and V reattached their arms? As long as the limbs aren't fully destroyed, he can just reattach them. And even then, as long as the core still exists, the body can be rebuilt. As I write this though, I realize that he would probably be dead at that point. You win.

Well, again, the arms weren't gone. His head was literally gone. Like, reduced to atoms. The arms were still there - in fact, V held hers in her mouth for a while! But when you literally erase something from existence (like what Uzi did to N's cranium with her railgun), you can't recreate it from new matter since matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Thus, my point remains.

I know. I ceded it to you.
