I the point I nwanted to make is that in South Korea there are lights at night
whereas North Korea is in darkness.
Does this make North Korea one of the most environmetally friendly countries in the world ?

Real communism has never been tried. What the hell is "real communism?" The workers have never owned the means of production! Communism puts too much power in too few hands. That is why it never works. The biggest and nastiest always rise to the top. Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot. You end up with psychopaths running the country

That's an interesting point so I Googled this:

'Is North Korea a communist country?'

Officially, North Korea is an "independent socialist state" which holds democratic elections; however, outside observers have described the elections as unfair, uncompetitive, and pre-determined, in a manner similar to elections in the Soviet Union. The Workers' Party of Korea is the ruling party of North Korea. Government: Dictatorship, Juche, Totalitarianism, One-party state, Socialist state, Communist state

Well just because it calls itself that it doesn't mean it is communist.

Communism by definition is supposed to be stateless, classless, and a full democracy.

I'm not sure anyone can call North Korea communist cause the rich benefit in Communism and the workers are the ones who don't, from what I know North Korea doesn't have no workers
