I don't know. I know they were eating cats and ducks but I don't know about dogs. Perhaps Trumps knows something we both don't know or he misspoke. On the scale 1 to 10 of what is truly important this registers as a -2. Who cares if it was an error? It has nothing to do with how he intends on running the country.

That article didn't debunk anything. All they did is quote from that one city manager than all of the media has been going to, when he said, “There have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”

That just means he didn't do his job. There are lots of reports coming out of Springfield about this actually happening.

And why is it such a shocker. There are cultures all over the world who eat dogs and cats. Up until the 1940's the Fijian people ate people. Ducks are eaten all over the world, including America. You can get a duck hunting license in every state in the union. That's what shotguns are best used for.

If people are seeing Haitians eating dogs or cats then why should that be a big deal. My wife is Mexican. She said one time (before she and I were married) she went to Mexico and ordered ribs at a restaurant. She said those were the smallest ribs she's ever seen. Looking back she thinks she may have been served dog ribs. She can't prove it.

I've heard stories of cats disappearing in neighborhoods in So. Cal. where a lot of Vietnamese refugees settled after the Vietnam war.

Here is what I think. If Trump hadn't said anything about it, then there would not be this mass denial from the left. It would just be a normal news story and people would move on. But because the left hates Trump as much as Hitler hated Jews that whatever Trump says must always be considered a lie and must be debunked.
