She had to give bl***obs to Willie Brown to get a position as DA and was never the lead on any case she was involved in whether as prosecutor or public defender. . .then again second chairs don't give opening/closing statements either and we all know what Kamala is like when she speaks publicly. Any sane prosecutor or public defender that wants to win the case would want to keep her far, FAR away from opening/closing statements let alone do things like cross examinations.
