No, it doesn't. Fear has never been peace.
Fear is not respect either. For whatever reason you've completely ignored the point ... but you know that so... there's that. ✌️

It's always worked for me. I haven't started anything with anyone because I don't want to go to prison,
and nobody's started anything with me because they don't want their headstone to say bullet bukkake, so I say it's peace.

Imagine how much better your life would be if you could feel safe without hate and fear though. Fear is not peace. If you are afraid enough that you think you need to be able to kill ... that's not peace.

Admittedly it would be nice to live in a world where I no longer have to defend my life, rather than a world where I'm not longer allowed to defend my life. I know that the former will never happen though, because humans are inherently awful. So all we can do at the end of the day, is to do the best we can.
