MSNBC, Why Won't You Say It?

"Mr. Trump, what are you doing to reduce the price of food in our communities?"

Every immigrant I knew in Colorado worked on dairy and cattle farms. When they brought Somalians over, they put them to work in the slaughter factories. They work the onion fields and onion plants. MOST were documented. And they pay taxes through their Personal Identity Number (similar to our SSN). And the government APPROVES And SUPPORTS farm owners to bring seasonal workers here. THIS CANNOT BE ABOUT THE UNDOCUMENTED WHEN THOSE WHO HAVE DOCS ARE BEYOND NUMEROUS. And the first generation immigrants are so very law abiding because they simply don't want to get caught. Fentanyl grew under the Trump admin (I have a meme about that). Its not that many are undocumented... It's that all struggle under the gop. I have a great deal of experience with first generation immigrants. They are very proud, extremely hard working, and will suffer hardships for their family. I have enormous respect for them. But they keep to themselves so many do not have the privilege of being around them. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th generations are struggling, caught between white and brown, between old and new ways: an issue which many MSNBC anchors could relate.

I'd bet the same. The people who yell, "They're stealing our jobs!" have probably never wanted the slaughterhouse floor jobs, the grape-picking jobs, and the many other kinds of work that immigrants do in the US.

Have you written to MSNBC or one of their anchors about their lack of coverage of specific issues?

imgflip.com/i/93ccd5 (and the chicken meme about voting for Harris is a no-broiler decision) were received really favorable to dairy, rural, and farm workers. It continues to get attention. AND NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THAT PROJECT 2025 HAS PLANS FOR AGRICULTURE, TOO...the DNC needs to talk about that.

I've done a lot of research, etc. MSNBC says Trump polling shows he is favored for economics and immigration issues. Well...the two issues are linked. All Harris and Walz have to do is speak to rural dairy farmers, ag farmers, and show support for Latino farm workers. And they need to quit pandering to college educated middle class...they already know which side is logical. But rural Americans aren't going to listen to MSNBC when they use words like "machinations" and "logarithms." Rural Americas are greatly suspicious of college educated people and think a college degree is just a piece of paper. They are still racist and make life difficult for nonwhite. I know that is a generalization but there is a LOT of truth in it. Trump appeals to their grade school level perceptions of the world. MSNBC and the dnc need to find a way to reach those folks.

It may seem simple... but saying "thank you" goes a LONG way with Latinos. And recognizing their heritage means you have tried to understand them. Do you know how far they could go in Rural America just by talking to farmers, milking a cow, harvesting fruit/veggies...even riding a horse? They have the granddaughter of Cesare Chavez as the campaign manager...what a coup! Yet, I don't see them trying to understand the great heritage of Latinos in agriculture and farmer's unions. Its all right there in front of them! I want Harris/Walz to win. I swear, they need to do what I'm suggesting... even just a few times. It will definitely get the attention of Latinos because every Latino has, or has had, a farm/field worker in their family. And they all say they were treated as badly as blacks...and are still greatly segregated. It's great black Americans are getting recognized for their strength. But they need to recognize their fellow brown Americans.

There are many dairy, United Farm Workers, and rural Americans who have responded well to my memes, comments, and interest. I've been able to encourage dairy farmers to share their voices. It's horrible what happens to immigrant farm workers and the gop wants to make it worse. And you know what could benefit Harris as a black person? The fact that white farmers laugh at how the gop doesn't want to help protect the workers. They laugh. Harris and Walz are naturally kind. They wouldn't laugh. Trump laughs at them...even when MSNBC doesn't report it. Its horrible what's happening and I know dnc would get the Latino and legal immigrant vote...even votes from kind farmers...if they showed all of America what it's like to milk a cow and ride a horse, so to speak.
