During Covid tons of Americans got dogs and cats because, well, lonely.
Now 12% are getting rid of them because they're not that lonely anymore and pet food cost money.

40% of the food people buy here gets thrown in the trash. But hey, got to make sure we've got enough money stock up on extra to keep 2/3 of ourselves obese.
