I agree with this completely.
In 1974, Stephen King published his first novel with a title character named Carrie White. Several years earlier, Michael Crichton knew a woman named Carrie White. She was his barber, who later got a behind-the-scenes role in the 1978 movie "Coma", directed by Michael Crichton.
I wonder what the real Carrie White thought of Stephen King's first novel....
