Whats difference between author ocs and persona?

I don’t really know…
My persona is a bit different from my author OC as he’s not exactly supposed to be me

Ah so like, sorta you but sorta not, but author oc can be that in a different way.

Personally my own author oc which is also kinda a persona is Liam, he's ofc just me with a different name, and a slightly different way of dressing

My persona is basically supposed to be me in my own world, my author oc is basically just me, the one illustrating him

Ah makes sense, I thought it was the other way around for a sec. My author is kinda a mix of the two, he's not entirely me, but he semi-non-canonically represents me as the author
