No. . .'far left' in the US is a bunch of control freaks who want political power no matter what while micromanaging everyone's lives to the point even the worst of dictators would say that's going too far.
Americans interpret "far left" to mean European-style "wealth sharing,"
which, in fact, is an excellent balance between
well-regulated capitalist wealth generation,
and reasonably apportioned wealth distribution.
This mix guarantees that all citizens have a roof over their head,
nutritious food on their table, and comprehensive, universal healthcare
