Yep and we are not supposed to stop and consider that our own Trump-hating federal government is ALWAYS aware of Trump's location and where he is expected to be and when he is expected to be there . . . moment by moment. Someone's talking, and it's someone high enough up to know that schedule.

Dims are insider threats; Trump and his supporters will face increasing attacks of all types. I have had imgflip trolls try to out me and fail. One accused me of being a cop somewhere in Alabama, another one said Florida. I never met those men, but I hope they are stupid enough to threaten southern cops, I know that will end badly for them, Southern cops and Portland cops are not the same type men. Ironically, before I went into the military I did try and get a job with a local PD just to be told I wasn't old enough. I expect riots after the election results, and attacks on anyone with a MAGA sign if the cheat fails.

Yes. That reminds me, though. While in the service I participated in a fair amount of fire fighting training and simulation featuring real fires. It was intense and dangerous and dirty and I loved it. A big plus was that the Navy did not care that I wore eye glasses. When I got out I applied to join a big city fire department and was rejected BECAUSE I wore corrective lenses. Just a touch of distant past irony.

I am not worried about my own safety; any visitors will be seen long before they get to the house and if needed, I would drink a cold one and watch the dog's work. I wish Trump had a pack of dogs and not carefully selected SS rejects.

I never understood the idea of running into burning buildings, but I would think a volunteer department would welcome you, they have work enough for all age groups.
