So do I. Lots of musicians have given Weird Al permission to parody their songs. In some instances, they have gone way out of their way to help him. Michael Jackson allowed "Eat It" to be shot on the same sets at "Beat It".

But some have told Weird Al no. Weird Al wanted to make a parody of the James Bond song "Live and Let Die" called "Chicken Pot Pie", and was told no. Weird Al did get to sing the title track for the James Bond spoof movie "Spy Hard" starring Leslie Nielsen. Here it is:

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a band that plays Christmas music with guitars to make those Christmas songs sound like rock and roll. Mannheim Steamroller has reinvented Christmas music by giving it a futuristic twist using electronic instruments. Enya is a new age singer who lives in a castle in Ireland and can sing in ten different languages, some of which she has invented herself.
