They are real ways, but I don't openly encourage them. It makes for bad grammar when a group of transgender people get together, or when you use they in place of she. For example, "they run", are they all running or is just one trans person running? Or "she runs," does it become "they runs"? Theoretically it would, because only one person is running, but the word "they" is not meant to be used that way. I don't hate LGBTQ+ people, but I don't support them either.
