There’s really no point in killing wandering traders. They will eventually go away anyway, they bring nice decorative and plant blocks pretty often, and also ice and sand.

I understand killing wandering traders. But you can convert unemployed villagers into what you need them to be.

the green-coated villagers are nitwit villagers, who are just unemployed villagers except they cant become employed, so they are mostly useless

Not true, nitwits have their own ai as well, they stay up late at night, especially during zombie sieges.
Nitwits also trample crops and refuse to trade with the player.

this is true, especially with my Family Life mod. If they don't have a name and I can't interact with them whether I'm holding an item or not, they are useless and deserve to die.
