There is also all remote jobs going to India and Mexico no one talks about. Companies like Rackspace and Zones replaced all US staff. Microsoft is getting close. That pretty much is the same as closing....that is a lot of unemployment.

Sorry, but ask the people in Cuba and Venezuela. When Obama was president the country did not fully embraced socialism. The subject of "controlled prices" was not a thing, at that time jobs where in the U.S. you did not had the number of business closing as you have now. It was the begining, but it will get a lot worse and you will be a sucker if you think it will not affect you when the money you are making is worth nothing.
