There is a difference between being elected and being hired. What you are complaining about is the Electoral College and why USA is a Representative Constitutional Republic and not a Democracy. I do concede that people are sloppy in the connotation of these two words, but these words are different despite the lack of precision in their usage. The Federalist Papers would help in understanding.

Not complaining, making an analogy: I support DEI. DEI is the idea that minority viewpoints are valuable, like the viewpoints of the approximately 500,000 citizens of of Wyoming, or of Trans people, of whom there are a few hundred thousand in the US.

The real question is, how do you feel about minority voices?

Why do you liberals hate anyone who doesn’t think exactly like you?

See my answer above. Why is the right wing so bad at understanding the rules of formal logic?

Your Meme contradicts your comments. BTW since you claim "formal logic" you might know what pons asinorum and non-sequitor means, if not, be careful of claiming knowledge you are not in procession of. Not attempting a ad hominem attack, but from a logical perspective your title and your meme are not an "analogy" but rather a failed attempt at conflation.

Since you ask "The real question is, how do you feel about minority voices?" (another non-sequitor BTW) You do realize that in a Democracy they are NOT heard? Thus as an advocate of the Republic they have value but are not granted dictatorial status over other equally worthy voices." However again you are conflating in that DEI is not about "minority voices" but rather only about power over others at the cost of their voices. A rather slippery slope upon to stand you might note. I rather suspect these facts will blow through the wind since they are not "feelings." c'est la vie. CIAO

DOESN'T MEAN DOMINATING NOW YOU TELL ME, BERNIE! | image tagged in bernie sitting, liz cheney | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I'm not familiar with the donkeys' bridge, but you misspelled both non sequitur and possession. Protecting minority voices is exactly the purpose of the Electoral College, de facto evidence that the Founding Fathers were invested in DEI, (ie, the pursuit of Equity by seeking out Diversity and Inclusion of minority stakeholders) just not using the categories of minority that we currently do.

Read more about DEI (not in right wing attack pieces, please) to find out what the people championing it are really trying to do. Giving minority stakeholders a platform doesn't mean giving them power over everyone, any more than having a Senator from Vermont implies Total Maple Domination.
