20,000,000 patients, millions of doctors (there are only 1.1 million licensed in US) so only 20 patients of the hundreds the doctor sees benefited. what about the rest of them?

My problem had to do with an unethical Part D Medicare plan run by "Wellcare." My private Insurance eventually paid for it.

Over the 15-years, so far, of ACA the number of physicians has probably been close to millions, with retirements and newly minted M.D.s running about 100,000 per year.

As of May 2024, there were 1,109,460 active physicians in the United States, which is 25% more than in 2010. California had the most active physicians with over 119,000, followed by New York, while Wyoming had the fewest with 1,245.

1,109,460 is not millions….its a lot closer to just a million.
