If you cheer when you hear "more taxes" you are helping the problem

Many people dislike taxes, myself included.
They are annoying, they mean less money for us to spend on other, more fun things.
Now, raising taxes might not actually be too bad of a thing, because those tax rates would only be going up for people who could actually afford the higher tax rates. Higher taxes for richer people means that people with less money will pay less in taxes, meaning that we would then have more money to spend on paying off debt or doing fun things with friends and family, or getting higher levels of education so that we can get even better jobs and earn even more money.
All in all, higher taxes for certain people would most certainly help the masses.

Expecting taxes on the wealthy to only ever impact the wealthy is like expecting smoke in the smoking section of a restaurant to stay in the smoking section. Eventually, that smoke touches everyone in the restaurant. Taxes on the wealthy eventually touch everyone with any kind of taxable income.

The higher taxes mean the schools and other government funded institutions become better, overall improving the quality of living for all people.

In theory, yes. In reality, the money Ukraine is getting from the US has to come from somewhere. And that is what Kamala is proposing. Giving more of our money to Zelensky, because apparently, his wife needs a new Bugatti.

Because his country needs money so that they don’t get taken over by Russia.

Thus is true. Increasing taxes on the rich who already know and manipulate the loopholes that exist will ultimately cause the burden to fall on the middle class yet again.
