*Heckyl crouched down.*

"Who will hear?"

Noah: My dad- *He glanced at the closed door of his bedroom*

"Want me to get you out of here? I just cleaned the cabin. You can take the guest room."

(Heckyl lives in a cabin in the woods just outside town for various reasons. He is close enough to the town to be ready in case of an emergency [he's a State Alchemist, but that's a long story] but far enough to be considered "isolated" for the same various reasons previously mentioned)

Noah: Please- That would be great- *a door slammed somewhere in the house*

*He quickly escorted Noah through the window and ran to his bike.*

"Get on."

*He did so quickly as a voice screamed from the house*
???: LITTLE SHIT-

*He revved the engine and waited to see who it was.*

???: *A drunken, disgusting man flung open the front door* You-

"EAT MY CARBON FOOTPRINT!"

*He drove off just as he opened the door.*

*Noah smiled slightly, relief washing over him*
Noah: thanks-

*He drove out to the woods, to his cabin by a lake.*

*Checkers coughs before climbing onto the bedroom window like the gremlin they were.* “Who’s he? I get’a stink bomb someone?!”

Noah: My dad- *He was terribly bruised* I don't know if thatll work-

“What? He doesn’t got a nose’er somethin? Oh wait- Shit you got f**ked uuppp-“ *Two seconds of awkward silence.* “…can I stink bomb your house anyway?”

“Hell yeah-“ *They held up a stink bomb they got from their backpack before pausing-* “should we like……get you outta here first?”

*Smile* Noah: Thatd be nice.

“Nice-“ *Checkers gestured to him getting out of the window and then opening the door to his bedroom, pressing the button, throwing the stink bomb and running away, gesturing for Noah to follow*

Teddy: who will hear?

Noah: my step-dad-

Aiden: *whispers* fym he will hear

Noah: My step-dad- *He was super freaked out*

Noah: My step-dad- *he glances at the door to his bedroom*

*Nods, He leaned on the windowsill, his arms were terribly bruised*

"... I see. Did he lock you out or something?"

Noah: He won't let me out of my room... no food no nothing.

"Jesus.."

Noah: Can you do anything-? You don't have to-

"What do you want me to do?"

*he hugged himself, looking around nervously*

Natalie: you can sit dowm

*He sat down*

Natalie: you hungry?

*nods*

*she hands him a ham sandwich*

Noah: My step-dad- *he glanced behind him*

Natalie:...*she raises a brow* what happened

Noah: He keeps coming after me, saying I cant eat, or leave my room+

Natalie:*opens her purse* here I have crackers *hands the crackers to him* *opens his bedroom window quietly* let's go

*he smiled, A look of pure gratitude on his face*
Noah: thank you- *A door slammed somewhere in the house*

Natalie: hurry

*He climbed out his window quickly. he seemed to be bruised on practically every inch of his body*

Natalie:*she drags him to her apartment*

*He said nothing the whole way*
