He put a temporary stop on nationals from certain countries such as Iran, North Korea, Syria etc and all for good reason. With the ISIS thing at the time it was a great idea for Trump to do that but the left went full knee jerk. Not sure exactly how many countries but something like 10 or 12. I totally agreed with what he did.

I am for banning everyone from every country until we get a firm handle on our borders and immigration policy.
Ten years ought to be enough of a moratorium on immigration.
People hell bent on destroying my country have no right to be here, so I have zero problem with banning Muslims from immigrating to America. Especially any from Gaza and Iran.
