Counter-Sniper...you're doing it wrong.

Apparently his boss would not allow him to shoot. It's a variation of what happened at Uvalde when the school superintendent security chief would not allow Uvalde first responders to do their job.

I don't think it was this guy who botched it. It was the higher ups setting protocols and the entire environment of "don't shit unless you know for sure it's a threat." This type of shit needs to change and it needs to change quick.

Don't believe everything you hear.

1. The field of view through a scope is very limited.
2. The sniper was scanning predetermined targets.
3. When he heard the shots he jumped up to get a wider field of view.
4. He then had to adjust his rifle to the right in order to make the shot.

There are a lot of wanna be non shooters posting a bunch of bull poop.

No dude.

1. The field of view is not that limited when you already know where to look and are already facing the zone

2. There was a spotter with that officer.

3. That scope isn't an ACOG, it's adjustable and they had 3 to 4 minutes to lock in on the target.

4. It doesn't take 3 to 4 minutes to adjust for your shot when you already have a general idea of where the target is.

It was obviously a deep state assassination attempt.

They just mk ultraed the worst sniper in the world.

I don't blame these officers. They were there to scan for distant targets. A scope like these in high magnification would make picking up that kid at 200 yards very difficult, that's why he had to look then reset his bipod. The other guy with him is another sniper not a spotter. The major failures were coordination between secret service and local law and not mapping out the venue properly. Dozens should lose their jobs over this one.

Just as long as the USSS Director loses her job first. That should be the priority.
