Comparing someone to someone else based on the fact that there was an assassination attempt is ridiculous. Teddy Roosevelt was also shot during a political rally, does that mean they're the same? Does that mean Roosevelt is the same as Hitler? No, of course not. It's a pathetic attempt to discredit a man based off something that should not be made light of. And trying to paint someone as the villain because someone else tried to murder them is even worse.
