If you don't like kids playing Call Of Duty, come up with a solution, because checking IDs at the point of sale clearly isn't working. It won't stop someone old enough to buy the game from handing it off to someone who isn't old enough.

Maybe we need to check IDs at the point the game is played. If it's on a PC with a videoconferencing camera, for example, the game should be programmed not to start if:
1. The camera is blocked
2. The face in front of the camera looks too young (and has no photo ID to prove otherwise).

The camera thing is actually illegal. It's invasion of privacy. It's why most apps have to ask permission before they access your camera or mic. Plus, that's not accurate anyways. Lots of people look much younger than they actually are. I've been told I look like I'm 12, and I just turned 15 on the 2nd.

Do you have a better suggestion?

Actually accurate tests rather than saying "Yes, I am 18." Pr parents giving a damn and age restricting content. There are so many other ways to go about this besides violating privacy laws.
