Sorry, I don't have much experience spinning for lefties. But if you are human, and above age twenty or so, you may have encountered phenomena like advertising and propaganda. If not, here's how it works People adopt slogans and catchphrases that sound good, but are simply illusory. Because a movement purports a desire to "Make America Great Again" does not mean they are automatically trying to do this, let alone do they possess competency to do this. It's a SLOGAN: Its fulfillment actually involves the repudiation of half or more Americans. Many centrists and independents such as myself recognize that "Make America Hate Again" would be a more accurate slogan, but less people would be attracted to that. This slogan is not reality, feller. It is spin. The next question your slogan proposes is: When was the era of a "Great America" that we are trying to return to? When we had slaves? When civil rights were not granted? When women did not enjoy equal protection under the law? And finally, when did America STOP being great? Some of us are very perplexed by this cipher. We think it's pretty great now, but in great danger of becoming fascist should the so-called MAGA regime return to try to fulfill their "Revenge Tour".
