Well howdy, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today's topic is Dear Leader being abandoned on Maat's altar.

Well howdy, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today's topic is Dear Leader being abandoned on Maat's altar. | First off, let's consider the upshot of the GOP-majority SCOTUS' Immunity ruling -namely an ex-POTUS' absolute immunity for official acts, zero immunity for unofficial acts undertaken while seated; that's a real kick in the pants innit? Heading straight to Mar-a-Lago, nothing of the happenings there concerning private citizen Donald J. Trump's possession, handling, concealment of classified documents is protected so he's not going to be Hammer-timing his way out of those charges. Next up: Georgia. The nature of the Presidential Oath of Office renders any action undertaken by a POTUS contravening the Constitution an unofficial act so pressuring a state official to "find" 11,780 non-existent votes because it's one more than your opponent got runs afoul of at least one Article & Amendment... Moving a bit to the north: District of Columbia -not only did the SCOTUS leave the decision of what is and isn't an official act to the USDC for DC, it removed the impediment of taking take into account state of mind, so arguments of "I was trying to do the right thing" are now irrelevant. If Mike Pence takes the stand to talk about how and by whom he was pressed to exceed his Constitutional authority, well... that'll be an interesting day. Couple that with the same type of constitutionality (lack thereof) issues the Orange Doofus' is up against in Georgia and he's effed. Of course, it's reasonable to expect his lawyers to appeal every decision of distinction the court makes... but that's just a speed bump. And, depending on how things play out in AZ, he may be eating a few more charges before all is said and done. Sooooo... the long-story-short of it, what the GOP-majority SCOTUS just re-iterated is the same thing everyone who comprehends the content of Article 1.3.7 has been saying right from the start: Presidential Immunity isn't a free pass to commit crimes. That's right --we knew it. Nixon knew it. And now, Trump-cult kids, like it or not, you can't pretend that it is anymore. Well... you could... but you guys would never deny the GOP-majority SCOTUS -whose one job it is to understand these things- knows that of which it speaks just to protect a criminal and your egos, right? | image tagged in scarecrow in field, trump unfit unqualified dangerous, convicted criminal | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
