Anything that causes a mutation (a change in the DNA of a cell). DNA changes caused by mutagens may harm cells and cause certain diseases, such as cancer. Examples of mutagens include RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES, x-rays, ultraviolet radiation, and CERTAIN CHEMICALS.

WELL SAID.....(I just got out of IMFLIP COMMENT JAIL)...Dr Dean Burk US CONGRESS July 21, 1976 said IN POINT of fact....fluoride cause more cancer death and causes it faster than any chemical. He spent 34 years at NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE.

Without the food industry feed lot products making Americans obese and making their teeth rot you would not need toothpaste.

Fluoride kills the bacteria that cause tooth decay but it also kills beneficial bacteria.

It does not discriminate.

Not much use to have a mouthful of pearly whites while you die of organ cancer at a young age.

I have not used fluoride products or consumed fluoridated water for several years now.

Hopefully not too late.

Fluoride making a person less intelligent was news to me.
