I guess your ignorance is getting in the way of logic. Many people live the in red areas. They would get their own electors and representatives which would reduce the damage done by California in the House and in Elections.

You stand corrected. Or sit in your parents basement corrected. Or lie homeless in the street corrected. Wherever you liberals hang out.

You don't understand what a 2 state solution would mean for the political landscape.

The numbers for the House are locked in by the census... and there are a lot of "newcomers" working in these rural counties... DC should be part of Maryland... It should never be a state... It's just a city...

It doesn't matter... DC was never intended to be a state...

Inland California , Orange and San Diego County are not insignificant numbers. Millions of people live there.

Nope... Electoral College is genius.

Yup... the Electoral College is working as the founder intended... something that infuriates those the founders wanted the rest of the country protected from.

The electoral college was designed to not take into account the popular vote. It's a check on the insanity of mob rule. The fact that a few times in history the winner did not get the popular vote proves it's working as intended. Otherwise it's just a fancy way of getting to the same asinine result the popular vote would.

Nope. Not corrupted at all.

This is completely false. Thanks for trying.

lol, I don’t think taking the explanation of a Marxist is a good idea when it comes to democracy. I’ll go with the electoral college.

Unpopularly? Like how Joe Biden was elected. I don’t think it was popular either.

Biden received 7M more votes than Trump, more = popular

Trump received 3M fewer votes than Clinton, fewer = unpopular

This has only happened one other time in modern history (since apportionment was broken), when Bush received 500k fewer votes than Gore in 2000.

Seems Biden is pretty unpopular with a 36% approval rating.

We're talking about whether they were popularly elected, not approval ratings.

Nobody says it does. It’s scepter lefties who don’t realize the wisdom of the Constitutional Convention delegates.
