Making the masses believe in an apocalypse has no benefit to anyone. (in general. It can get you money for making these videos.) So I doubt that the government would do that. Mortality is your experience as a mortal dude. The second coming is the end of mortal life.

Apocalypse is just war on a global scale. War makes profits and economic power. That's a benefit from war whether on the football field or the battle field. Merchandise is getting sold. Whose government doesn't run on money? Death is part of life. Energy is not lost just converted. Remember that we are spirits in material bodies. You are software and your body is hardware. When your hardware brain dies and your body dies your software spirit is released.
