Boardroom Meeting Suggestion

People aren't proposing to "deport all Mexicans" to combat inflation or blaming migrants on inflation. Companies are using inflation as an excuse to raise prices but price-gouging isn't really the cause of inflation as much as an effect. What's actually causing inflation is the federal reserve printing way too much money which devalues the currency and private companies in the economy aren't able to produce enough goods and services to compensate for the excessive amount of the cash the government printed in the first place.

Given that the government is intentionally stifling affordable housing developments, refusing to build enough themselves and importing people to compete with the rest and creating inflation that devalues the currency, leading to price hikes,
one could argue that the government is directly responsible for price gouging people more than anyone.

Perhaps the government at all levels should be held responsible and have its power over housing revoked, given its long history of failure/corruption/inability?
