Upvoted. The FBI is at least their equal now. But remember that it's always easier to corrupt and destroy the integrity of an organization than it is to maintain and build upon greatness.

Yep kinda sad tho, because it makes a mockery of the system and yes they have to get rid of Trump and the Coppers in the George Floyd case, but well we have the same issue here in Australia, with Aboriginals. In one case an Aboriginal died after a fight between him and a Copper and whilst the DPP would not prosecute, the Queensland State Attorney General ended up filing charges because the Aboriginals wanted blood and still the Government lost. Same in the Northern Territory a young Copper shot an Aboriginal knifing his Sergeant and the Government sacked him and put him before the Courts, they still failed tho. Thee thing is by they destroy the credibility of the Courts by doing so. The FBI was once looked upon as the best of the best, even when I did my legal training, they quoted FBI cases and yet now they are on the same level as the Stasi and the KGB.

As soon as the people in charge of a system become corrupt -- politically or fiscally -- the system crumbles from the top down. This applies to agencies within governments and the governments themselves. But that initial corruption comes from no longer BELIEVING in the concepts of honor, ethics, or patriotism; in thinking that those traits are for chumps and losers and suckers.
