Not The Smartest California Tyrant

California is adding 44cent /gallon tax to refiners. That is on top of other taxes to kick in beginning 2025. It will be about $1/gallon increase. Everything that gets delivered will cost more in California. Those increases will also affect produce prices across the country.

Gavin Newsome has promised too many people money that he doesn't have, so he's got to get it from somewhere right? Why not take more from California residents to pay for his special interests. And if you can't afford it...oh well. I personally wonder who gives him his information.

That tax on refiners gets paid on every gallon piped to Nevada and Arizona also. Every penny goes into the state general fund.

Can you say taxation without representation?

Well Gavin Newsome has to pay his wife's non-profit to pay her production company to produce all those gender videos to go to the schools.

So you can see there's lots of that in California, financially benefiting the politicians and their families.

Oh please the progressives that run this state are atrocious. It's tax and tax and spend, spend, spend. And when they don't have any more taxpayers funds to spend they dip into reserves and don't replenish them in a timely manner. Or they misappropriated restricted funds, are Instructed to repay them, and in the budget they defer those payments too.

I'm sure you understand there is so much more.

They claim to never have enough money and squeeze it out of anyone they can. It doesn't matter that it's through interstate trade. You get to pay the same price we do.
