My general perspective is that I don't care about him much *unless* it has to do with his Demented POTUS father selling out our country to our geopolitical rivals.

If any of the drug use, deranged behavior, etc., put others (abused hookers, innocents of all stripes, etc.), children in any kind of peril. So to apply that to this situation, I would worry about him putting Hallie Biden's child at risk by being on drugs and having a firearm around that child while using drugs. Hallie Biden of course being the widow of his brother Beau, whom he started banging after Beau passed, and while he was banging the stripper who gave birth to Demented Joe Bribe-em's grand kid.
In principle I don't want anyone breaking our laws, even if I may not necessarily agree with the law in question (e.g. drug users forfeiting their 2A rights...) but since I tell others if they don't like a law, quit whining about it. Instead go through the process of having the law changed. So he shouldn't have lied on the application to buy the firearm, and assuming the case of drug use can be proven, suffer an appropriate punishment.
Taking a bit of a step back, I also have to wonder about a son, whose father definitely knew about his drug use, and possibly but not necessarily knew about his firearm purchase. That same father also having been the driving force behind so many 'crime' bills that require people who do exactly what Hunter did, to go to jail.
He obviously wasn't turned in by the old man, so we see just another example from hypocritical libs who seem to believe in the 'good for thee but not me' philosophy when it comes to our legal system.
