The Victim Card

The craziest thing is that there are people who actually believe that killing a leader will result in them being replaced with someone better. And what happens if the next guy in line decides to not hold back like the last one did? But then again, younger people don't seem to comprehend the fact that there are consequences for their actions and only pursue immediate gratification without thought of those consequences.

Which is exactly what happened with the US meddling with Iran, replacing Reza Shah Pahlavi with his son, Mohammad Reza, staging a coup against democratically elected Prime Minister Mossadegh and propping Shah Mohammad Reza even further, then when he fell out of line in the 1970s, getting him to allow Ayatollah Khomeini come back in and ultimately take his place, which happened with the Iranian Revolution of 1979.
And we can't figure out why every step of the way things just keep getting messier and messier and the hatred against us further and further.

We did the same with Afghanistan in 1979, which ultimately led to 9/11, and then we use 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq, which is now a mess as well as Afghanistan that is.
